I do not know about others, but I enjoyed every moment of the 16th of May much more than a T20 match. The results sealed every single mouth which spoke against congress and Dr. Manmohan Singh. One decision that really brought the votes under the belly of congress was the open declaration of Dr. Manmohan Singh as their representative for the office of Prime Minister. Mr. Singh’s image of a honest, intelligent and a firm human being won the hearts of the millions of voters across the nation. The charismatic personality of Rahul Gandhi also made a huge difference in the votes. His innovative ideas and his young brigade of youth congress also helped the congress  eradicate the BJP.

Well, the opposition played a very crucial role in the victory of the UPA. Their contribution is extremely vital and should not be neglected. First of all BJP did not take up any justifiable issue on which they could ask for votes. They did not learn from the elections in Delhi, which were held a few months ago, that using delicate issues like terrorism will rather affect them in the opposite way, and referring Dr. Manmohan Singh as a week prime minister made them no good. They should have kept in their minds that N-deal was carried out by the Prime Minister alone with a very firm and positive attitude. The worst was that they gave child like speeches against their fellow politicians instead of talking about various issues of national importance. Actually when they stepped in the elections, welfare of the nation was never on their mind. May be they were jealous of Mr. Singh, who was their main target throughout the elections. So, because of the clear majority, congress is not chained this time to carry out various decisions.

Now everywhere the slogans are, “ Singh is King” and well he kind of deserves it. All the so called KING MAKERS and IRON MEN are lambs in the open field. Let us hope India will be a much better place to live in by the end of this government’s tenure.

Yeh Tumhari Meri Baatein from the movie Rock On!!!, is one of the slow and romantic tracks of the album. Personally, I really liked the voice of the singer Dominique Cerejo. The smooth music and lyrics are undoubtedly pretty good and go pretty good with the singer’s voice. Now I really can’t wait to check the movie after hearing the music of the movie and watching the trailers.

The sweet voice and smooth music seems to match the current weather. With regular rain showers and cool temperature, hold your cup of tea or coffee and SING ALONG!!!

First time in the history of Indian Olympics, India tasted the GOLD MEDAL in 2008 Beijing Olympics. Abhinav Bindra made his country proud by wining a gold medal in Men’s 10m Air Rifle held on 11^th August, Monday. The whole country is rejoicing and is on the ninth sky. It was a proud, yet emotional moment to see the tri-coloured flag at the top with national anthem serving the patriotic feeling in you.

Last time India won gold was in 1980 when Indian Hockey became the champ in Olympics (which didn’t even qualify). But it is the first time an individual has won gold for India at Olympics. Bindra’s proud family is extremely happy and words are failing them to express their happiness.

25 years old Abhinav, born in Dehra Dun and a resident of Chandigarh has been performing extremely well since the past years. He was 17 and the youngest athlete to compete at the Olympics in 2000. He came 7^th at the Athens Olympics Games and had emerged victorious at the World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia and 4^th at the Asian Games, Bangkok, Thailand.

The Gold Medalist had to suffer through a serious spinal injury because of which he could not even pick up the rifle. He was taken to Munich where the doctors told that it will take a year’s treatment to make him well again, but Bindra didn’t agree with them and preferred to fight his way out of the injury. Bindra had his eyes fixed on his aim i.e. Gold in Olympics and became the first ever individual gold medalist in India. Today he is a national hero and the whole country waits to welcome the young gold medalist.

recent book I read called Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat. I know most of the country (India) had read it year(s) back but I came to know about its existence just, say a year ago. I was first introduced to it by Hindustan Times and a dear friend KrazzyK (his pen name) and after that I met a lot of persons on this globe who had not only read the book but were also in deepest joys while recalling it. And recently two of my dear friends (KrazzyK and harry) bought this, materialistically, most desirable bunch of pages I wanted to read throughout the year (though I flunked almost all the major subjects of my school in the past year).

Moving on to the book, well when both of my friends had read the book, I got to observe some good expressions of appreciation by both of them (already expected). And when I got my hands on the book, I was really curious to know what kind of treasure was under those pages that everyone likes this book so much. And as soon as the journey of five point someone began, I was carried away with it. (Won’t be mentioning any kind of story in a nutshell or something so if you are looking for some sort of summary, then it is not the right place to read and if not, be my guest and feel like home). Meanwhile, during the past couple of days, whenever I opened the book, I was in a whole different realm and was deeply indulged in the book unaware of a whole goddamn world passing by me. The book was really addictive especially the way every single situation was described and put together.

So, I take this moment and this space on the internet to praise this lovely piece of literature and would like to mention that I will get to read One night at the call centre (from the same source) in a few days but have to wait to get my hands on 3 mistakes of my life as the regular school books are becoming real burden these days.

Concluding the blog post, I would say the funny, dark and non-stop Five Point Someone is worth the time and a MUST READ for everyone. And as for Chetan Bhagat, well a 4 shots of vodka for him out of five.
